This is simply a delightful wine from Le Clos des Quarterons and winemaker Xavier Amirault! Elaborated from old vines of Cabernet Franc - over 50 year-old - and matured in demi-muids (500-liter barrels), it really shows how complex a great Loire Cabernet Franc can be. Try and decant it for a couple of hours if you can and let the magic come to your glass. You will discover notes of blueberry and blackcurrant and an elegant touch of violet. Great concentration, good tannins and a nice acidity for this exceptional wine.
