"A rock solid beauty" - Robert Parker.
Still in Northern Rhône Valley, Saint-Joseph tends to be more bodied and masculine than Crozes-Hermitage. This one is no exception and opens up on a powerful nose of cherries, blackberries and a hint of cocoa. Palate is round, balanced and shows a great depth. Finish is intensely long and mineral. A more than decent Saint-Joseph for any amateur.

|What experts says|
89 "A beautiful Syrah, the 2013 Saint Joseph sports a deep ruby, transparent color as well as lots of darker cherry, peppery herbs, tapenade and spring flowers notes on the nose. Medium-bodied, elegant with bright, yet integrated acidity, it has fine tannin, beautiful balance and a great finish. Borderline outstanding, it's a rock solid beauty to enjoy over the coming 7-8 years."
