Madiran are medium to full-bodied red wines mostly made of Tannat, a local grape providing structure and tannins. Domaine Mouréou is owned by Patrick Ducournau, one of the most influential winemaker in the South-West, and managed by the Laplace family from Château d’Aydie. The Madiran Domaine Mouréou is a classic Madiran, boasting nice fruity flavours (black cherry, fresh strawberry and cassis) and a solid structure. Sweet spices and mint add some complexity on the long, tannic finish!

|What experts say|
87/100 "From one of the properties owned by the Laplace family, this blend of Tannat and Cabernet Franc is juicy, ripe and all about black fruits. Soft tannins support a juicy, generous wine that will be ready to drink by late 2018."
