Ventoux Vieilles Vignes 2017 Vignerons du Mont Ventoux

This Ventoux Vieilles Vignes - or Old Vines - is produced with grapes from vines among the oldest in the Vignerons du Mont Ventoux winegrowing territory; on the steep hills of the Ventoux mountain and organised in terraces around the village of Bedoin. The wine develops an intense bouquet of red and black berries, notes of soft spices and liquorice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with smooth, silky texture. Lovely aromas of blackberry and liquorice, combined with soft, melted tannins. A great expression of the Ventoux appellation!

Decanter World Wine Awards

Bronze Medal at Decanter World Wine Awards "Vibrant aromas of prune and dark plum with floral notes. A powerful wine with well handled tannins and finesse."

Guide Hachette des Vins

1* "These "old vines" of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan give a wine that opens on a nose of fresh fruit, grape marc with pastry nuances. Fresh, crunchy, with round tannins, the palate combines liquorice with a touch of violet. An expressive and harmonious Ventoux, to drink in his youth."
